Pleased to be working with Notts County Academy as they travel into Germany for an elite professional tournament where they will play against “Serie A” Champions FC Juventus and keep alive the history and tradition of both clubs surrounding the Italian giants inheriting the famous black & white stripes of Notts County.  It is great opportunity for the young players & staff of Notts County to keep alive the tradition while participating in an exciting tournament fixture with Juventus where they will complete a shirt exchange with their counterparts depicting the relationship between both clubs.

The modest success of Notts County has played one of the most integral roles in the sport’s history. The Magpies are the oldest professional club in the world and have subsequently served as a monumental inspiration for the earliest football teams in a whole host of different countries. It was Juventus who adopted the colour scheme and fell in love with the striking contrast of bold black and white stripes. Even when the time arrived for a replacement strip , the Turin side opted to stick with its pattern, confirming that this would be the future path of the club and inheriting a new identity. Over the generations, further changes were made to enhance the Bianconeri’s identity however Juve’s emblem was the vertical stripes.
